Blu-Ray 3D Disks

The 3D world of consumer electronics is still on the rise and now the BDA has given (Blu-ray Disc Association) specifications for the first 3D Blu-Ray discs known which will support at a later date, the new 3D formats.

The new 3D Blu-Ray discs this need to be encoded via the MVC codec and support them both a full-HD 1080p resolution for the right and the left eye. The new 3D discs are compatible with current 2D Blu-Ray players and therefore would have potential to transfer passengers on 3D Blu-Ray discs grow any new player. In addition, in the future also menus and contents can be output via the 3D and the first discs are expected to appear in 2010. What then are still missing, the corresponding television, which can convert the signals even in 3D.
